Cartographers: A Roll Player Tale (Boxed Board Game). In Cartographers: A Roll Player Tale, players compete to get the highest reputation at the end of four seasons. Each season, players draw on their map sheet and score against unique conditions at the end of the season. But you are not alone in this wilderness. The Dragul contest your claims with their outposts, and so you must draw your lines carefully to reduce their influence. The player with the highest reputation at the end of the year is declared the winner.

Mighty heroes don’t just appear out of thin air -- you must create them! Race, class, alignment, skills, traits, and equipment are all elements of the perfect hero, who is ready to take on all opposition in the quest for glory and riches. In Roll Player, you will compete to create the greatest fantasy adventurer who has ever lived, preparing your character to embark on an epic quest. Roll and draft dice to build up your character’s attributes. Purchase weapons and armor to outfit your hero. Train to gain skills and discover your hero’s traits to prepare them for their journey. Earn Reputation Stars by constructing the perfect character. The player with the greatest Reputation wins the game and will surely triumph over whatever nefarious plot lies ahead!

In Roll Player: Fiends & Familiars, players can add more depth to their hero by adding a familiar to their character. These creatures add more options during character creation and help each player explore the mechanics of the game in new and different ways. Fiends distract the players and provide new obstacles along the path of creation. A brand new set of Monsters give the players variety to the end of the game, while new Minions are added to the Minion deck that provide new and different goals for the players to reach. New classes and Market cards provide even more variety to each game of Roll Player. Players still earn Reputation Stars by constructing the perfect character, but can explore new strategies and options as they ready their familiar while they sidestep the pesky fiends along the way.
