Arkham Noir is a solitaire card game inspired by the interconnected stories of H.P. Lovecraft and other authors, re-imagined as noir detective stories. Each case stands alone. In Case #2 - Called Forth By Thunder, as private investigator Howard Lovecraft, you will investigate events based on the stories "The Lurking Fear" (1923) and "The Diary of Alonzo Typer" (1938). New elements such as Storm Cards and Formula Card are introduced, which will force players to face new challenges and play differently.

Case #1 The Witch Cult Murders Walpurgis Night, May Eve, is always a nightmare in witch-haunted Arkham. There are bad doings, and a child or two frequently goes missing. This year, Miskatonic University students engaged in occult studies have been turning up dead. Arkham Police, in deference to your unusual expertise, have asked for your help to get to the root of the matter. Time is of the essence: after Walpurgis Night the trail will grow cold and the culprits will retreat to the shadows until the next Witches Sabbat, when the next cycle of deaths will begin. As private investigator Howard Lovecraft, you will investigate events based on the stories The Dreams in the Witch House (1933), The Thing on the Doorstep (1933) and The Unnamable (1923).

This third installment of Arkham Noir includes 2 game modes. The Classic Mode where the goal is to collect 5 different types of clues with the Puzzle Attribute before time runs out or you lose your sanity. And the Hardboiled Mode that consists of completing all the Objective Cards before running out of time or sanity.

In Flatiron, you will be transported to the Big Apple to participate in the construction of this iconic building. Both you and your opponent will need to develop your companies by adding new cards to your personal board, thereby allowing you to perform more and better actions on each of the surrounding streets. The ultimate goal is to earn more points than your opponent, primarily by undertaking construction tasks but also by maintaining an impeccable public image and adhering to the decrees of the New York City Council. When the roof is placed, and everything is ready for the grand opening, the game ends. Victory and recognition will go only to the player who has accumulated the most points. The fair has arrived at the city, and the house of horrors is undoubtedly the most awaited attraction for all the visitors. Players will need to put together the best cast, with the most fun, yet terrifying, monsters, ensuring their attraction will not disappoint the unsuspecting visitors waiting in the box office queue. Through an original system of turns, players will obtain the necessary resources to hire the different monsters that come to audition. The objective is to choose well and get the right combination of characters that let players sell their tickets for the attraction as quickly as possible.
